Angelito L. David
Angelito David is a native of the Philippines. He studied at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila and the Accademia di Belle
Arti in Rome. He studied Fresco painting and Art Restoration.
While restoring documents at the Corcoran Gallery and the JP Morgan Library he
had major exhibits in New York and Nashville TE.
He has become known for his mastery of watercolor in competitions in Italy, the
United States, and the Philippines. He was head of the Watercolor Society of the Philippines and prime mover in
the Art Association of the Philippines. He held professorial posts at the University of the East and the College of
the Holy Spirit for over 22 years.
He is an Associate Member of the American Watercolor Society, and the New Jersey
Watercolor Society. He is co-founder of the Society of Philippine American Artists. He is a full member of the Hudson Artists Inc. and was their Artist of the Year
in 2005. He has been published in "Contemporary Art" and "Art Philippines".
He currently teaches at the NJ Center for Visual Arts, Summit, and the Bloomfield
Community Center
